Haiku's by Christopher De La Cruz

Go outside, pleasant.

See nature for its beauty.

Relaxing isn’t it.

Scary animals.

Lurking behind the shadows.

Waiting for their pray.

Favorite flowers.

As long as it Is for me.

Any will be good.

Haiku's by Khoa Chau

The greens leave hustling

Seagulls loudly chirping by

So unromantic.

Beautiful stranger

Sitting there, golden brown hair

Wave to passersby

So many green trees

Yet some dead and withering

Just like me one day.

What is a haiku?
It is an unrhymed poem with 17 syllables arranged in three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables, respectively. Haiku began in thirteenth-century Japa

Haiku's by Lizbeth Delgado

So far from the floor
Vibrant colors which attract.
Fire in a plant

So close to the ground
Let a sunset in a plant
So far from the sky

Different shades are seen
Holes in the ground to be filled
Wind passing its leaves

Haiku's by Abenaa Owusu

In between sibling
a bridge of love and friendship
the middle child shines!

In the mirror, doubt,
but strength and beauty within,

waiting to be found

From the dawn of time,

I have always loved you, now

And forevermore

Haiku's by Henry Hun

Blanketed smog skies
Grim oak crisp, hugged with moss
Buildings tall with tales

Soul’s colored all warm
Smile’s filled with content
Everyone is welcomed

Every Leaf is life
She grows strong in her branches
There the tree of life

Haiku's by Fardowza Jaama

"Trees"
Vibrant scenic trees
Radiant trees tall and wide
Pristine all around

"Grass"
Narrow pristine roots
The luminous Sea of green
The Lush blades of grass

"Birds"
Birds fly in flocks
Shiny feathers roam the sky
Unique shapes and wings

Haiku's by Lorein Lomboy

Heat lasers at me
Sweat drips like a waterfall
Summer is painful

My feet melt in sand
Waves crashing and loud wind blowing
The beach is peaceful

Book pages flipping
Calm rain drops echo in my ear
I love quiet days

Haiku's by Tynee (Tee) Curry

Haiku 1:

Never silent here

Wind wooshing against my ears

Never quiet here

Haiku 2:

There on the buildings

Looking down on to my life

Crying when I cry

Haiku 3:

Rough tree on my skin

Leaves crunching under my feet

So old yet so young

Haiku's by Cedric Mayo

The winds soft caress

warms me up, feel it's embrace

loneliness is fine

Even under a brick floor

trampled, crushed, stepped all over

my love still blooms here

Green leaf sakuras

normal trees in the summer

but I bloom later

Haiku's by Audriana Mountha

Trees lining our paths
stray twigs wander far from home
branches sway and dance

Skin against the breeze
surrounded by reds and greens
sweet fragrances roam

Down the winding path
signs drowning in shrubbery
moss consumes the trees

Haiku's by Abdi Omar

A man enshrouded
Befriended with a canvas
Of natures best

Orchestra of snaps
With claps and pitter-patters
The rhythmic rain plays

A lull in this land
Final breaths and last words lie
Yet the flowers bloom
